From the earliest days of public health, environmental protection has been fundamental to preventing disease and ensuring a healthy population. This session will feature EPA public health leaders and illustrate how EPA plays an important role in protecting public health. This facilitated panel session will address questions such as: What are key areas of public health research at EPA? What tools and approaches are available to help practitioners make science-based decisions? What are today’s biggest environmental health issues and how does EPA help solve them?
